The Parcel Shipping, Delivery and Collection Experts

Based in Grantham, Delta Express is a family run business. Specialising in international and domestic shipping, parcel delivery and customs services. The company was formed in 2004 with the initial aim to serve small to medium manufacturers. We provide transport solutions for parcel shipping, parcel delivery and parcel collection across the UK, London and Manchester and all around the world. In 2010 we added European and UK Road Transport services to the portfolio. As well as shipping services for larger consignments. In more recent years, Delta Express has further expanded the business to provide import and export services. Consequently, we have fine tuned the expertise required to help our customers through the complex customs process.

Family Run Business

Delta Express has grown to become one of the leading independent worldwide parcel shipping and logistics providers. We work with both small to medium size businesses. Notably, the Grantham based company still runs as a family business with the emphasis on service and reliability. Customers have full control when it comes to tracking their parcel. You can access our full track and trace service. Or, alternatively, this can be fully monitored by Delta Express. Which means deviations en route, or customs issues are easily identified by the customer or reported back to you. Likewise, Delta Express proactively tracks, traces and intervenes to prevent any blockages in the delivery chain.

We get even more value for our customers by partnering with the major delivery and shipping suppliers. As a result, our UK rates are consistently competitive and boast door-to-door delivery service. There's no need to take or pick up your consignment at a service centre.

Our transparent pricing policy means you will see the price when you book. We can also take direct payments when you book and offer payment terms to regular customers. Introductory offers can also be arranged on request. We’re confident that once you have used Delta Express, you won’t go anywhere else.

No matter where you are, Mick and Maureen are committed to providing a first class service. Regardless of the time. Customers can contacts us weekends, evenings and office hours. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Extra insurance cover can also be arranged and booked when making a booking.

Peace of Mind

Customers are advised to print consignment notes for the driver to attach to your parcel. The driver will do the rest. Sit back and await a confirmation when your parcel is delivered. Or, if you prefer, you can go on line and track your parcel.

We can also advise and supply packaging to ensure your goods are protected during the transit process. We strongly recommend that all goods are adequately packaged to reduce the risk of damage. Subsequently leading to a possible delay in the final delivery.

Very passionate about values and how the companies achieve their goals. 25 years’ experience in the logistics industry operating at the highest level dealing with customers and his focus was to become an extension of their business by delivering on his promises and delivering good customer service at the lowest cost.

Always had a dream of forming and running a family run business and believes that staying close to customers is key to a long-lasting relationship. Worked for all the big logistic players including Christian Slavesen, DHL, Kuehne & Nagel and latterly Culina serving a multitude of big names such as Marks & Spencer, Mars, Mondelez, Michelin, Kingfisher, Heineken and Whitbread to name a few.

Mick believes the onset of Brexit will add to complications already experienced by customers as they send and receive their consignments all over the world and the personal touch of talking face to face with experts is key.

Maureen has the same traits as Mick when it comes to customers. Nothing is too much trouble and ensures that a consignment delivery is tracked and any custom or transport issue delays are acted upon and reported back to the customer. “They all know me by my forst name and I feel I know them all personally as they can contact us anytime for anything. Nothing is too much trouble in this complicated world of export and import”

Maureen has been at the desk now for 5 years and understands the importance of communication and the speed of information to both customers and suppliers.
